SageRock Capital (磐睿資本) announces the successful tokenised issuance of the “SageRock New Energy Foster LPF. Support by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA)’s EnsembleTX infrastructure , it completed a pilot subscription and settlement using a Delivery-versus-Payment (DvP) model for “tokenised funds × tokenised deposits”. This marks an important milestone in SageRock Capital’s efforts to connect green real-world assets (RWAs) with institutional digital finance.
As the first tokenised green fund targeting electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure under EnsembleTX, it’s green characteristics have been independently assessed and reviewed by SGS against international recognized green bond principles, reinforcing transparency, credibility, and investor confidence.
The fund is distributed primarily by Eddid Financial, leveraging its all-in-one smart trading platform, Eddid ONE, to provide investors with a compliant and efficient subscription experience. Ant Digital Technologies (Ant DT) acts as the technology provider, utilizing its self-developed tokenisation platform, Anvita TaaS, to support the fund subscription and settlement via HKD Tokenised Deposits in Hong Kong using a Delivery-versus-Payment (DvP) model.
Under the DvP settlement mechanism, the on-chain transfer of fund shares and the payment of HKD tokenised deposits are settled synchronously in a single atomic transaction. This ensures that delivery occurs against payment, improving settlement efficiency and completely eliminating counterparty risks and settlement delays inherent in traditional fund subscriptions, providing a tangible business case for tokenised investment transactions.
Looking ahead, SageRock Capital will continue collaborating with financial institutions, asset owners and technology partners to advance commercially viable RWA applications, contributing to Hong Kong’s development as a centre for digital and green finance.
